The Westside Fellowship

We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.

So why do we not have Baptist in our name?

1) Our desire is to be inclusive to all, and we want our name to reflect that desire.

2) Being Baptist is an issue of doctrine and practice not title.

3) Denomination is not our priority, glorifying God is.

4) Someone that is concerned about titles would probably not fit here.

5) Most people do not know what it means to be Baptist, even more don't care.

6) We want people to know that we are not traditional.

7) We are a fellowship on mission to lead people into God's kingdom.
