Our world is changing faster than ever and so are those of us who live in it. As the world discovers a new way of doing life we must discover a new way of doing church.
The Westside Fellowship was birthed out of the desire to see a relevant and local community of believers impact the
West Baton Rouge area for Christ. Our world is in perpetual motion and in order for the church to effectively reach its community it must be in tune with that motion. At The Westside Fellowship we believe the church is at its best when it connects with and embraces the community and culture in which it exists. The Westside Fellowship is not a “one size fits all” kind of church. We will go the extra mile to speak truth to those who are searching and bring glory to our God, but we will not be driven by the philosophies of man or the temptation to make our faith comfortable. A church by nature should take on the characteristics of its people, but the nature of God shall never change.
Ultimately our vision comes down to what Jesus said in Matthew 6:10,
"Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
