The Westside Fellowship

Salvation - salvation is not a religious thing that one group has the market on. It is not about being a member of any church. There is only one way to salvation and that is through faith in Jesus by the grace of God. It is the work of God and the need of all men. It is a personal decision that each person must make for themselves at a point in time when they are aware of their own sin and their need of a Savior.

Baptism - we believe water baptism by immersion is the outward expression of one's decision to follow Christ. It was modeled in the New Testament and symbolizes our death, burial, and resurrection in Christ. You do not have to be baptized to be invovled in The Westiside Fellowship nor will we pressure you to do so. It is however a part of our covenant partnership for leadership. We will respect the expression of your decision to follow Christ and would love to share with you why we believe the way we do.

Membership - traditional membership is not a big deal at The Westside Fellowship. You do not have to sign or join anything to be invovled in The Westside Fellowship. We will soon offer "Foundations" which is a course designed to acquaint you with who we are in more detail. We have a group of people we call our "Partners". Our leadership team is made up of only partners. These folks are in covenant relationship with us in respect to what we believe, how we carry out the ministry and our lives.

Money - we are not going to beg you for money or pass a plate in front of you. We do feel it is the responsibility of believers to fund the work of God's kingdom. In order to facilitate that we will have places to give money in the back of the meeting room that we will point out and you can place offerings in there.
